A New Organ Discovered, Scientists Say it might have Something to do with Pain

Scientists found a previously undiscovered network of glial cells under the skin of rats, the role of which has been chalked up to be processing and regulation of pain. When scientists suppressed the web-like organ spread out under the skin of test organisms, they found that the rats were much less susceptible to react to mechanical pain.
